Forgotten Isles

Forgotten Isles was created for Ludum Dare, a 48-hour game development competition. It was created using the Unity game engine. The game is a puzzle game, in which the player finds himself or herself in a maze. Each maze must be solved before the countdown is depleted, but reaching certain checkpoints within the maze reset the timer. The final twist to this game is that the walls of the maze are visible or hidden based on the proximity of the player. As one nears them, they rise out of the ground, but as one moves away, the walls sink back into their default hidden state.
